Promoted to Captain's on April 16, 2008 were Louis Turso, Louis Zampella and Michael Stefano. 10 new Firefighters were also sworn in; Nestor Matos, Christopher McGlinchy, John Taglieri, Marco Cruz, Christopher Curko, Keeon Walker, Rich Marsh, Joseph Grossi, Stephen Scrivani, and Steven Manzetti Jr.

Promoted to Battalion Chief’s on February 20, 2008 were Kenneth Metcalfe, Daniel Cunning, Brian Greene and Steven Manzetti. New city Firefighters were also sworn in on February 20th; R. Bracero, B. Caro, F. Cologna, A. Maroney, A. Martinez, K. Robinson, A. Sanchez Jr., E. Shaul and J. Twyford.
